What is Wood Badge?
Wood Badge is a leadership course For: Cub Scout Leaders, Venture Leaders and Boy Scout Leaders. All trained adult Scout Leaders are encouraged to attend Wood Badge. Wood Badge is a world wide training tradition that reaches back to the days of the founding of Scouting. Wood Badge is a six-day two-weekend experience in which you learn more about Scouting, leadership and yourself.
When is Wood Badge?
• September 18, 19, 20, 2009 – All Day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• October 17, 18, 19, 2009– All Day (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) Where? Heart of Virginia Council Scout Reservation
How Much?
$230 – Covers all Meals, Lodging and Program for Six Full days. $70 is due with this application, $75 due by 22-May-2009, Final payment due 21-Aug-2009. Priority given to applicants with full payment.
